For The 'Ween, We Hide.

Halloween: Not a big fan, me. In SC it's even easier to be a non-big fan, what with the annual tradition of stabbings three blocks from my apartment. HOWEVER! That certainly won't stop B and I from eating a sumptuous chili feast, carving some serious pumpkins in a serious manner, and watching America's Next Top Model.

Happy day everyone. Wake me when it's Thanksgiving.

Well said, lady. Well said.

I disagree. Scaring the poop out of little kids wins out over listening to the cousin/aunt/whatever say for the fourteenth time, "Really, you won't eat the turkey? I mean, I know you're vegetarian... but it's not like it's beef, and it's a holiday!"

gargh.

See, there's the rub. Some of us have had more fun, some of us have had less fun, depending on the holiday. I have always had a great time at Thanksgiving, b/c I loves me the turkey and stuffing and wine and I get along with my extended family + Becky's. A lot of people hate it, though, b/c they've found the whole affair rather tedious. And for me and H-ween, well, you know my policy on people screaming "wooooo!" Not everyone is bothered by that, though. :]

Wow! B's pumpkin is the most adorable I've ever seen! Honestly, though, could a person expect anything less from her? No, not really. :)

You definitely wouldnt like Halloween at our place. While the building is secure, keeping the trick-or-treaters away, it never seems to keep the "woooooo!"ers away. And you can bet your sweet ass they were in full effect.
Pancho and I decided to watch The People Under The Stairs at a high volume in an attempt to drown them out. And you know what? That movie is not even scary. I must have been an extra wimpy kid to think it was. It was more funny than anything, and also it makes me want to tell everyone to "Burn in hell!"

:)

Well done on the pumpkins!

Can you believe that ANTM already had a flashback episode?!? SO lame. With my general disinterest in the stress that is halloween, I was saddened not to have that distraction. :)

I *know*! Although, having missed the first episode this season, I was amazed at what a horrible bitch Ebony was at the start. She passed those duties on to Brandine, who then changed her ways following the makeover episode. What a great show.
